3. Considering the much cheaper (and most likely better) options outside of the hotel, I would avoid breakfast at this hotel.

4. If you are going to have breakfast at the hotel, you are better off packaging it as part of the room when booking since it really is ludicrously overpriced (think over $60 for 2 people including tips, children under 12 are usually free).

5. i've stayed at the renaissance 57 and i think that hotel offers better service and is a bit more sleek to my liking, though their rooms are way smaller than this hotel.

7. While I'm not one for hotel bars, the R Lounge is worth the room price alone (I'm spending $220/night in February on a special offer) as it looks straight down Broadway and 7th Ave from 47th St - you won't find a better view of Times Square.

8. You cannot find a better location and if you are on a high floor the windows cut out all the street noise, except an occasional siren.
