We've walked easily to Broadway shows, seen the Naked Cowboy on Times Square a couple of hundred yards away, and dined at the excellent restaurants in the area (great Italian restaurant across the street and the Scottish Saint Andrews Pub with affordable dinners and wonderful atmosphere around the corner.

10. I've been looking through Trip Advisor and elsewhere for affordable Manhattan hotels for our upcoming long weekend in New York City, and I think I finally realized that one can't improve on near-perfection.
