My room had a huge bathroom with all amenities(even a lovely Neutrogenia French-milled facial soap unavailable to the general public), and while it was beautifully central (on 35th between 7th and 8th), there were layers of sheer and black out possibilities for the windows and a recording of gentle ocean (?) sounds gave me the best of being central and being sheltered from invasive NYC.

There are different types of Restaurants everywhere, but we would definately advise going for a steak, there steaks are just amazing, One restaurant in particular is Nick and Stephs Steakhouse which can be found at 9 Penn Plaza near madison square gardens, and go for the Porterhouse steak for 2 at $44 per person and is more than enough for 2 hungry people and the side orders are huge.
