7. I must say I really appreciated the african american young lady at the front desk's knowledge of the best eating and shopping areas in NYC.

My room had a huge bathroom with all amenities(even a lovely Neutrogenia French-milled facial soap unavailable to the general public), and while it was beautifully central (on 35th between 7th and 8th), there were layers of sheer and black out possibilities for the windows and a recording of gentle ocean (?) sounds gave me the best of being central and being sheltered from invasive NYC.
