1. If you want a home away from home feel about your stay in new York you can't go past the Affinia 50.

2. There is a bit of traffic noise, distant sirens etc, but I think this is pretty much a backdrop to new York and it didn't prevent us sleeping.

3. The room was quite spacious by new York standards,with a desk area, cupboards, armchair and a FABULOUS kingsize bed with a wonderful mattress and an amazing choice of pillows.

4. I've had some truly horrific hotel experiences, so am always apprehensive when booking in a new city, but truly could not have asked for anything better, especially for the price relative to other hotels in the vicinity.
