4. We had dinner at the Tidepools restaurant one night which featured steaks and Hawaiian dishes, very good as well but it was very busy and they expect you to call and make reservations in advance which I found annoying since I don't generally like to be structured when I'm on vacation.

5. I recommend going to the general store inside the resort and buying mini bottles of rum, vodka, etc.

6. The lagoon pool makes up for it because it is very large, comprising of three areas starting at the top and winding down: adult pool, general pool, and then beach lagoon area with a man made beach and hammocks.

The buffet breakfast was something else, probably the best i've ever had and the views from the eating area was greatShipwreck beach is a fun surf spot too, so if you've got your board you'll enjoy falling out of bed and into the surf like I did - thank god for the wind generated swells around winter time.

Recently spent 7 days at the Grand Hyatt for a sales meeting, and I was so impressed by this resort, that I plan to book a personal trip for my familyThe resort is on the dry side of this lush, green island, and while we had a storm pass through with one day of rain, the weather the rest of the week was beautiful, generally warm and sunny, with a little bit of cloud cover.
