1. The pool is also really nice, and the chairs around the pools look much more comfortable than the ones around the lagoon (that's probably the only fault I can find with the hotel - lagoon chairs should be as comfy as the pool ones).

3. Furnishings and decor were good (not luxurious, but very nice), the bathroom large (the shower/tub was particularly pleasant, with a fancy shower nozzle, plus hand-held), the beds comfy and the refrigerator empty (great for loading up on beverages/snacks to avoid resort prices).

The lobby of the GH is more casual/open air, with a gorgeous garden/path meandering past parrots, maccaws, and local vendors with unique Hawaiian artwork/crafts, continuing down to the Seaview Terrace, where you can sit on comfy chairs and enjoy the view and breeze with a drink while listening to Hawaiian music.

9. Ours had a triple sliding glass door with a lovely view of the grounds and ocean, with two hammocks below which were frequently in use and looking very comfy.
