5. We were given a king room on the 7th floor and originally I was concerned it would be noisy from the street and the gym traffic (as that's where their fitness centre was located) but it wasn't and it was quite convenient to have the gym & business centre on that floor.

8. I've stayed here at least once year from the time it opened, and while it's still one of the most stylish hotels in Portland, with a convenient downtown location (one train from the airport and walking distance to the Pearl District, Powell's, major shops, Chinatown, restaurants.
