POSITIVES* Second room was beautiful, quiet, clean, and very spacious with an upgrade to partial ocean view on the 4th floor of Building 2; This room made the rest of our vacation very enjoyable* Once room change was confirmed, transition was seamless as staff moved our belongings while we were out* Numerous chairs by pools though those under umbrellas go to the early birdsTIPS* Stock up on groceries and souvenirs (macademia covered chocolates & hawaiian coffee) at costco or walmart near airport* Decent breakfast and lunch at nearby CJs Deli for reasonable price* Purchase sandwiches for picnic lunches at Safeway in Lahaina; Starbucks also located in same plaza* Spent more time at pool than beach due to wind & passing showers during our May vacation* Parking and WiFi included in $25/day resort fee.
