1. Even though I stayed in the Gilligan's Island part of the hotel (a ten minute walk to the beach/pool/lobby), I was afforded a georgous oceanview room with a view of the ocean and nothing else.

5. Being just the two of us we prefered the vacation rental but for a larger group or family I think the Sheraton would be a nice affordable choice.

6. We did eat and drink at the Mai Tai Bar and the Cliff Dive Bar a few times and the food and drinks were quite good but at $10 per drink and $16 for a sandwich it's not something we could afford to do every day.

7. In preparation for my honeymoon, I studied many hotel reviews on Maui and picked the Sheraton for its many positive reviews and relative affordable price.

8. We decided we could not afford the extra money for the suite and the double was wonderful if we could have one not by the elevator (noise, etc.

9. With closing if you are in Lahaina there are two place you MUST GO TO: Ululani's Shaved Ice (best in Maui, don't let anyone else fool you) and Aloha Mixed Plate (very affordable and delicious Hawaiian food).

10. I am very picky and prefer to stay a little nicer usually, but this time I didn't really care and found a very affordable price online.
