We didn't eat at the hotel but it looked typical for the hotels in the area - maybe a couple of bucks cheaper than the moana surfrider across the road (which is a great place for a beer by the way)Any negatives are probably typical of waikiki, we enjoyed the buzz of people and activities, but the noise is obviously typical of a busy built up area.

7. )- cheaper than other starwood or hiltion properties in Waikiki- Resort fee of $12 includes internet access (wired only - at least in our tower), beach towels/ chair & parking (we used the parking a fair bit, driving in & out multiple times)- clean rooms with a decent shower / bathroomCons:- Ancient rooms, with furniture & furnishings in desperate need for renovation.

8. ) There is an indoor/outdoor buffet-style restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, but I found it to be pricey - the breakfast buffet at Duke's Waikiki, which is literally right across the street, is $10 cheaper.

10. Over all it was a great experience, the flaws and cons were just mild things, so i would recommend staying here if your looking for a cheaper hotel but one that is decent looking, friendly, and close to the beach and attractions.
