Checkin: fast, professional and great hospitality - from the carhops to the bell servicesRoom: Our room was in the ocean tower - so we had a nice ocean view; heard no noise at all; beds very comfortable; room exceptionally clean - bathroom a bit smaller than expected Pool: large saltwater pool with large attached hot tub area - lots of chairs and an open pool bar/grillBeach: narrow and ROCKY - ROCKY - so if you want to dive in to a sandy bottom - this is not the spot for you - the beach head itself is nice sand - but what bugged me is a few things - we woke up and there were several 'bodies' camped out along the back side of the hotel - no, not teens - more like homeless , sad - but made sitting there in the morning before the beach services set up very uncomfortable - also - they clearly did not rake the beach there at nite - I could see alot of small rubbish all over - on a positive note - it is narrow and quiet once things get going - there is also a food court on the Ft Derussy side of the hotel,which has some decent beach food incl shaved ice.
