4. There are two decent restauarants on site and buses going to Pearl Harbor and Alo Moana Mall are nearby and frequent.

7. This comfortable and friendly hotel is well-located a few blocks away from the 'main drag' of Waikiki which, while full of good dining options and decent shopping, borders on 'tourist-trappy' with its buskers, god-botherers, gun-range sprukers and occasional woman-of-the-night.

8. If you are on the mainland in the US, Mexico, South America or Asia and you're reading this review, and trying to select a better-than-decent hotel for a acceptable price close to the heart of the Waikiki 'action,' you can stop looking.

9. There is a decent pool in the courtyard area; it is wedged between two buildings, but makes the best of the space with plenty of seating and a bar/restaurant adjacent.
