4. We have never been to DC and finding an affordable but very nice hotel in a decent district was a experience and after locating several hotels I relied upon these reviews which were very positive.

5. There are no typical modern amenities such as free in room WiFi ($10/day), a gym (unless you consider a room w/ two treadmills and a step machine a gym), a concierge, a decent bar (there's a bar but it's more depressing than desirable).

9. We also had a couple meals in the hotel restaurant, which were reasonably priced, and decent food, but if you want a really good breakfast, go to The Diner, located in the Adams-Morgan area (about 4 blocks away from this hotel).
