5. The hotel also has onsite dining, and while the breakfast buffet was impressive, be forewarned that it is rather expensive, especially if you have a larger party, as 18% gratuity added, even despite it being a buffet.

7. )- Stay was a Saturday night- registered as 'honeymoon couple'FIRST IMPRESSIONS:This hotel is located in an extremely convenient location for sight-seeing, a relatively close walk (for those that don't mind a 5-10 minute hike) from the National Mall, Ford's Theater (right around the corner), and other landmarks.

9. The hotel is full of all the amenities you need (Starbucks, Deli, Sports Bar, pool, gym) and sets quite the impression when you walk in.

10. The Grand Hyatt makes a Grand impression when you enter the lobby, and I was pleased to be able to check in early (although I did have to wait an hour to do so), but it was not such a Grand Experience after that.
