1. There must be better better hotels around the conference center.

4. In fact if you are staying in the area the Grand Hyatt is located, look into the Hotel Monaco, which has an even better location and can often be the same price as the Hyatt.

6. I like some other neighbourhoods better for restaurants (like Dupont Circle or Georgetown), but most people will probably find something they like within walking distance.

9. There are so many better places to stay in Washington that I would only stay here if a meeting dictated that I had to as was the case with this most recent stay.

10. I had a corner atrium room which was better than most in that it was larger but you cannot open your drapes or all the facing rooms can stare right in at your room.
