1. And then to top it all off, for some reason, Shama at the Zephyr Deli took a liking to our sons, and had popcorn, soda and a free in-room movie coupon sent to out room.

6. Come to think of it, the Kimpton chain offering free internet to it's rewards members and a complimentary cocktail hour pretty much trumps any Hyatt in the same price range).

7. As my wife and I have family in DC, we often are staying at hotels, and only once have we stayed here (for the $150 to $250 range I'd much rather stay at one of the many Kimpton hotels in the area, where the internet is free and hotels are more interesting.

8. We were out seeing the sights on Saturday, but saw the Sunday movie, where we were given free popcorn.

9. The charge for internet is ridiculous - why do the upper end hotels charge and the economy hotels offer it for free? Parking is a hassle if you are driving in - we arrived late and at the drop off area were signs saying self park and valet park were all full - had to drive around to a public parking garage at 11 PM.
