1. (I recommend Occidental Bar and Grill at the Willard--though pricey; Filomena in Georgetown--though painfully noisy) The one downside was that there seemed to be little awareness of how to get around/eat/etc on a less that bloated budget.

2. The only downsides were that the room's lighting was very 'atmospheric' but too dark to actually see yourself clearly in the mirror, and that there weere no tea/coffee making facilities in the room (though the hotel did provide free tea/coffee in the bar every morning.

4. The only downside I found was $42 for valet parking per day, but that is right in line with DC in general.

7. downsides: Those stupid fridges that automatically charge you when you remove (or even pick up and look at) items.

8. The only downside to this hotel, and it's a minor one, is that rooms do not come with a microwave (so unfortunately, no TV dinners for me).

9. The only real downside was the valet parking service (note to staff: don`t expect a gratuity if you rush departing guests into their cars and leave them to reverse out of an alley into heavy traffic).
