1. The beach is mostly rock landscaped but during low tide we walked on the exposed sand (and yes tar is a natural occurrence on the beach - come prepared with an old pair of athletic shoes for rock exploration and sandals for the low tide days).

2. The beach is a rock beach, not much for sunbathing on, but I think the pool more than made up for that.

3. We saw 2 wedding parties and lots of patrons spending time at the pool (who can blame them??) while we took a walk on the rock beach.

4. I went to see the beautiful sandy beach that they had a picture off, but all the sand was washed away in the storm and there was only bolders and rocks there.
