1. We were in San Diego for the USMC graduation and were charged an extra $100 a night because we made our reservation through the wrong website.

2. How could you go wrong? Everything you need is close by, there's a plaza directly across the street with a whole bunch of shops like TJ Maxx.

3. I paid twice the lowest local rate and expected that there was some ascending quality built into that especially since I booked into the suites side of the hotel-assuming that this would be a even more of an upgrade in quality and privacy which turned out to be a wrong assumption.
