4. Pros: -Convenient to Gaslamp Quarter and Bus Station, just a quick drive from museums & zoo-Caring staff, really wanted us to enjoy our stay and post our review on the web-Reasonable room pricing-Special packages, we got the Zoo package and enjoyed a day at the San Diego Zoo following-Complimentary breakfast that they will deliver as room service (two choices only though, an eggs and potato spread or a continental fruit spread, both decent but not delectable)-Surprise discount on parking because we had a hybrid carCons:-Old hotel that has been decoratively updated, but limited on amenities-Old hotel means weird lack of features you come to expect at hotels like a fan in the bathroom-You can hear buses coming and going at all hours at station across the street-Wouldn't make a effort to return unless needed a familiar convenience.
"Remodeled with care " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/21/2011 Vote
