The only
downside
was not getting the room I requested (we got a king with a roll-away instead of 2 doubles) which was odd since I made the reservation in June, but we got some $1 glasses of wine for the inconvenience.

So on the one hand, the Bristol was great in treating us well, but the
downside
is that they seem to host a lot of party people (see previous commenters).

The only
downside
may be the $25 (approx) daily parking fee, though this is not unusual at a downtown California hotel.

The only
downside
to this is that the busy street noice can be heard in the rooms but not so much to be a bother.
