2. Hotel is very close to NCSU campus, so nearby are places like Baskin-Robbins, a local pizza place or two, some fast food marts; a bit further away, there is a Bruegger's bagels and a Red, White and Blue barbeque place, but the whole area is generally sort of shabby.
