2. bad news: no hotel shuttle (NCSU is a very big place, we had to get to / from a building that was 5 miles away, and without a hotel shuttle this is difficult; the hotel staff did not know about the free NCSU buses that are a block away -- but they run every 30 min and they have a strange schedule).

5. When we brought these issues to management's attention, we were basically told 'too bad,' and that nothing would be done, even though the 'satisfaction guarantee' stated that if we were not pleased with any portion of our stay, we would not have to pay for that portion.
