1. Our service on the patio was very slow (as it was Happy Hour) and several younger 'hipper' groups arriving after us were waited on before us.

2. As it happens, my room had several defects -- the HVAC was uncontrollably hot, the sink was very slow draining, the water too soft for me (hardness and pressure) and the carpet was sticky underfoot.

5. The room was a little dark (but so many hotels are being cheap with lighting lately), and the flat screen tv remote was slow, but we were there to see a play in Portland, so we only stayed one night, and the hotel was affordable, and perfectly wonderful for that.
