The
bad
(if anything):-one elevator was out of order - not a big deal, but was told was not allowed to take the stairs up so long waits for the elevator-complete, amazing renovation, except for the 1970's toilet.

Only
bad
(and it's not even that
bad
) thing I have to say is that it's not as central as other hotels to downtown, but if you don't mind walking an extra 7-8 blocks it's a great place to stay.

From that point on we were sold to the Modera but always with that idea in mind that something
bad
could happen and maybe ruin our weekend.

Not
bad
since you probably aren't in Portland to stay in your hotel room, but things do get a bit 'cozy'.
