If they had been
loud

There are night clubs in the vicinity that produce
loud
, late night partiers; which in turn produced police activity accompanied by sirens far into the night.

Only complaint was the noise - I am not sure what it was exactly (possible a nightclub), but we were on the 7th floor (of 8) and heard a
loud
bass thumping for hours at night.

However, I was placed in a room that did not honor my request (I'm Gold with Hilton), and I can always handle that, but the noise outside my window with nearby bars was so
loud
that no nap or sleep was really possible.

loud
neighbours.
