1. The Latham did end up trying to find us a new room for our 2nd night after complaining for 24 straight hours, but we had to be available at a moment's notice to switch, and unfortunately we had plans that we could not change to accommodate the Latham.

3. The friendly staff, attentive bellmen, and great location unfortunately can`t overcome the slightly bedraggled state of the hotel and rooms, rendering my vote for the place as simply average.

I had the unfortunate luck of being on a room on the 13th floor right outside an hour long disturbance between 3 am and 4 am -- housekeeping left a vaccum out, didn`t collect old room service dishes and drunk persons clattered over them, and began to vacuum at sporadic intervals for an entire hour.
