4. The only negatives for us were that we like scalding hot showers and the water is hot but not really hot and a bit of mold around the edge of tub which always skeeves me but I dont take baths in hotels anyway.

6. Despite the numerous negative reviews here, I decided to give the Latham a shot because of its excellent location, very reasonable weekend rates, and the few good reviews calling the hotel a 'good value.

7. I had read the bad reviews on here and I was becoming very reluctant about staying at The Latham after the phone call hassle and negative reviews, but I figured that for one night`s stay it wouldn`t matter much, even if there were flaws.
