1. I used one of the drawers in the bureau as a 'Free minibar' in which I put chips, granola bars, etc that my kids could enjoy.

Food - Coffee and juice out at 7:00 am in the Lounge Continental Breakfast - 7:30 am to 10:30 am (This is a great spread) Snacks - chips, peanuts etc with soft drinks are out all afternoon Cocktails - 4:30 to 6:00 beer and wine with hot hor d'oeuvres Night time sweets - 8:00 to 10:30 cookies and milk (I'm a sucker for cookies and milk)We found that we used the food perk and valued that at $125 per day.

4. Yes there are 2 gift shops but they only serve chips, chocolate bars etc, nothing like sandwiches or pizza.

5. The restaurants were ok - a member of our party was ill for 3 days after eating Fish & chips with coleslaw in the Islands dining room - we think it was the coleslaw, but can't say for sure.

7. We had dinner one night and whilst it was a little on the expensive side, it was good food and made a change from the usual fried chicken and chips/burgers etc.

10. The sweets served between 8 and 9 pm were a blond walnut brownie, oatmeal raisin cookie and chocolate chip cookie (the only disappointment, it had a strange metallic taste).
