1. Location is perfect; close enough to walk to anything (and I have mobility issues), but not in middle of what can be craziness of some areas.

3. The main issue was the lack of windows, which I quickly learned also meant that the bed linens were damp.

4. My only issue with the room was the slight musty smell - but I think its due to the never ending humidity that New Orleans dishes out - I think it just gets into the drapes and carpet.

6. Like almost all older places in New Orleans, there are some small issues with this hotel, but nothing that put me off.

7. The only issue we encountered was with the room temperature -- central air w/no thermostat in the room, and we were a bit warm from our first foray into the Quarter (we went over Labor Day -- the humidity was unbelievable).

8. I wouldn't have minded this, other than the fact they had one poor woman working the front desk and also dealing with housekeeping issues.
