7. Rooms facing the street are really noisy and you should be prepared to wake up everyday at 4:00am with the sound of dumpster trucks working their routes on the street.

9. besides who goes to New Orleans to eat hotel food (unless it is a New Orleans only restaurant)???I travel all the time and all I do is stay in boutique hotels and let me tell you this hotel has passion and tranquility all wrapped into one, unbelieveable history, and in a great location -- away from the noisy French Quarter.

10. My room was a corner room barely above street level but with lots of windows--a little too noisy on this floor with street sounds--but the gym was also on my floor, so a big plus.
