1. There's a lot of great things about this affordable hotel, but unfortunately our stay there a couple weekends prior to Mardi Gras was rather disappointing.

We walked EVERYWHERE, and being a self-proclaimed complainer, I'm telling you it wasn't bad at all =) unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to utilize much of the hotel's amenities, but the services we did use were great (very cleanly, complimentary breakfast was ok, front desk was very accommodating in our room requests, they serve cookies upon your check-in).

9. We went to Mothers for dinner one night and food was delicious but I unfortunately ended up with food poisoning and lost a day of my short vacation as I had to spend it in the hotel room.
