1. The location though definitely is one of the best things about this hotel, and I would stay here again if I was looking for somewhere that is not overpriced as many of the hotels in this area of New Orleans seem to be.

2. Travelers of all types -- singles, families, seniors -- will appreciate the responsive, helpful staff; the comfort and quietude of the large rooms; the imaginative renovations which incorporate every modern convenience into a series of 19th-century warehouses, and the unbeatable location just outside the French Quarter (wise travelers seldom stay IN the Quarter: lodgings there are virtually always overpriced, undersized, and too close to the noise).

4. We searched several hotels in the French Quarter, most of which were either overpriced or booked due to the event - Though we were a little unsure about staying in this type of chain hotel, we chose the Country Inn & Suites because the website stated that it was in a historic building, and they offered some good deals for the weekend.
