1. Because of its proximity to night life, there is plenty of traffic (cars and people) even well past midnight, so we did not feel unsafe getting around at night.

3. Be aware that Nashville has a fairly dense homeless population near that part of downtown, but at no time have I been badgered or felt unsafe while walking to and from the hotel.
