1. Was it the complete lack of an internet signal in my room? The 10-15 moldy miniature carrots I found laying under my bed? The rust reportedly coming out of my colleague's shower? I'm not sure, but none of these made me want to return to the Sheraton Nashville.

2. I understand that the hotel was busy when I was there but the server never came back and the buffet was kinda gross for lack of words.

5. All of these incidents individually do not seem like much but when taken together suggest a lack of security monitoring, poor housekeeping, or at the very least inattention to detail.

6. At the room rate I paid, and as a Starwood Preferred Guest Gold member (who did not get any enhancements during my stay), the service and quality at ths hotel were sadly lacking.

7. lack of Amenities - In comparison to other 4 stars we've stayed in across the country, the rooms did not have mini-fridges, safes, or I-Pod Docks.

9. My kids got a big kick out of the glass elevators but the lack of service really got to us, especially since this bills itself as a fairly high-end place.
