1. Stayed here pre-cruise ,this was our second visit to this hotel the last one being 2005,check in was pretty quick(nice after long flight) however when we got to the room it smelled terrible , I went straight back down to reception they gave me another, same problem , they eventually gave us a room with a balcony still a bit smelly but by that time we accepted it dropped the luggage and headed for the bar, the rooms are in need of upgrading , everything was old and a bit worn out.

2. the new room didn't smell like paint, and even though there was no fridge we were happy the fan worked.

3. we were a bit disappointed to smell a faint paint odor, but just wanting to sleep, we said nothing, however, realizing shortly after that there was no fridge, neither the ac or fan were working, and the noise of the planes nearby was constant, we asked to switch rooms.

5. The Executive floor that I moved to is newly remodeled so there was a strong paint smell in the room.

9. Same thing with the thermostat (even tho someone else had already tried the same thing) this one did have an odd smell.
