6. at the Plaza is really terrible, and does not even bother to have a drink list (the lounge is adequate and there is a decent but way overpriced bar --12 per cocktail minimum) I actually have no idea, but if I had to guess, I would bet money the Intercon is non-union and the Plaza is a union property, based only on the drasticaly better service at the Intercon.
