3. Instead, we were ignored and left to our own devices in the grossly inconvenient circumstances of finding ourselves travelling with children on New Year's Eve with nowhere to stay and trying to fix the problem while operating out of our car.

4. We had been staying in Palm Springs, and could have easily stayed there another night and avoided so much worry and inconvenience.

5. I'm sorry to inconvenience you, but isn't it standard practice to be nice to your guests? When I arrived, they were joking around with some other guests standing at the front desk, and they barely said a word to me except to give me my room key.

The only other possible downside is the $30/day parking fee (but that's LA, and maybe everyone should just think of it as part of the room fee; in our case, we were willing to spend the 5-10 extra minutes finding on-street parking -- which we were able to do on all 4 nights of our stay with little inconvenience -- and thus saved the $).

7. Like others have said the A/C was noisy but because we were so tied from all day sightseeing it only caused slight inconvenience, in fact the A/C from another room woke me up more than ours.
