1. I had a few issues with a my Visa and with the help of Zeeshan & the staff on that morning it was easily organised and able to be sorted all there and we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip.

2. We had a huge 2 bedroom suite facing the inner courtyard-so we didn't have an issue with street noise, but as previously mentioned the window a/c units are extremely loud.

3. The major issue for us was noise - we had a road facing room (MAKE SURE YOU ASK NOT TO HAVE ONE OF THESE) and the traffic keeps going all night so you can't have the window open.

5. We had one minor issue with a window not closing properly and the maintenance man appeared immediately and fixed it.

7. Each room has wall mount air conditioning, rather than typical hotel room central air but as we were there in January, this wasn't an issue for us.

8. (There have been previous postings on this issue - why not resolve it?) The point is simple - freebies and service is great, enjoy it if you want to, but this is not a top grade hotel, and is very uncomfortable for a stay.

All the details of the reviews below are dead on: excellent staff, free goodies, heated pool, free LA Times,free shuttles to MC or the spectacular views from the Japanese restaurant on the hill above, quiet complex (we are in 211 - the top center one bedroom, so no noisy upstairs neighbor issues, but an occasional car or truck in the middle of the night on the road behind the bedroom - what do you expect? You are IN a city).
