1. If you have any desire to go into the ocean, Casa Marina's beach is held together with poured concrete chunks and has large rocks.

2. The hotel is right on the beach (a valuable commodity in Key West due to the amount of rocks/coral) with a beautiful pier and gazebo that you can watch the sunrise from.
