When (after getting the final bill) we
complain
ed to the front desk, we were told that we should have ordered that item called 'the continental' and nothing else.
"Room OK but the most terrible service ever. Even for free, I'd never set foot here again. "

ed about the trains, but it was dead quiet) and luxurious.

When I
complain
ed the next morning to the front desk, the staff person only suggested that during my next stay there, I should inquire about reserving a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the train tracks if I am bothered by the noise.

When we arrived at the front desk and
complain
ed that we were not informed of the possibility of consistent train noises throughout the night, the hotel not only did not offer an apology, but attempted to charge us for a full night stay after 5 hours.
