1. Like other hotels in Dallas, it is often home to multiple conventions and meetings at one time, so if you are looking for a quiet place to hang out you are best off sticking to your room and should avoid the lobby and other common areas.

2. I don't like being "forced" into valet parking and was able to avoid it by finding parking directly in front of the hotel.

3. When you book, I suggest an East facing room to avoid the road noise.

4. If you are a saavy business or vacation traveler, I would suggest finding a good deal on websites like Priceline or Orbitz to find comparable hotels and avoid paying full-Westin prices.
