1. First, the desk space is the most inconvenient and uncomfortable I have ever encountered.

2. Also, the couch was similarly uncomfortable and also clearly starting to wear out, which is a sign that it's not a product of a top Italian design house; a sofa from, say, B&B Italia wouldn't be this worn out after three years, the time I understand has passed since the revamped hotel was completed.
"Nice hotel, but more flash than substance " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/15/2012 Vote
3. The elevated desk makes no sense, and those stylish Bertoia chairs on it unfortunately are both notoriously uncomfortable and entirely inappropriate for task seating.

4. Personally I like the style of this hotel over the Westin but those desk stools are seriously uncomfortable since the front rises up and digs into your legs.
"Nice design, great staff, one or two functional drawbacks " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/1/2011 Vote
5. I only had a couple of gripes: My big concern (and I expressed this to the staff at the welcome reception) was the comfort at the desk for working - I had a couple of hours work to do at my computer and after sitting in the high stool for 40 minutes I had to leave the desk - it's simply too uncomfortable to work.

6. We did notice there were ladies who seemed to be soliciting 'inappropriate services' which was uncomfortable.

7. The work area is no longer a desk but a counter with metal chairs, very uncomfortable.

8. The couches in the lobby are ridiculously uncomfortable all in an effort to be contemporary.

10. It's nice to have a high large desk with two bar stools - but the metal chairs are so uncomfortable that I'd rather work on the floor.
