1. They do have free internet, which I used to contact Hotwire, who was very helpful, gave an instant full refund and allowed us to book a much better, slightly more expensive hotel nearby.

7. Sure, there are plenty of wi-fi spots in the neighborhood; but who wants to have to go out to get a signal? Don't waste time or $$$ on the terrible, expensive food in the Hotel 140's 'grill room'--there's a Starbucks 1/2 block away, & plenty of coffee bars, pastry shops, full-service restaurants & fast-food places within a few blocks.
"Great location; some things not so great. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/12/2011 Vote
8. Boston is too expensive by half, so we were really pleased with rates at the Hotel 140.
"Great location in the Back Bay for a bargain price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/28/2011 Vote
9. The King room is much nicer and not all that more expensive.
"Decent hotel with some wrinkles " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/13/2011 Vote
10. The location is not as prime as some more expensive Back Bay hotels but it's really only steps away from prime Back Bay and it really doesn't matter.
