3. Our view from the 8th (top) floor was average (we stayed in a City View room), and I realize it's hard to have much of a view in that particular area.

4. The only down-side is the lack of food service, but with the abundance of restaurants in the area, it's hard to fault them for sticking to what they know.

5. Being from the mid-west, it's hard for me to recognize this as a great value, but after doing some research it is good value for Boston, especially considering location and access to transportation.

6. All in all, unless you can afford a high-end, full service hotel at about double the price of this one, you would have a hard time beating this hotel for convenience for the Boston area traveler.

10. With so many 'high-end' hotels downtown Boston, it's hard finding a 'Hampton' level hotel and this is the closest thing to it.
