Some people might say that Stratosphere is a little 'out of the way' compared to the other hotels on the Strip, but because it's near downtown (and thus Fremont experience) I thought the location was just fine (we did have a rental car so you might want to take into account hiring one, it's the best way to get around in Vegas if you want to see more than 'just' the strip and downtown)Go to Red rock canyon if you have some time.

3. (btw, $20 all happy hour 6-9p, martinis/margarita rocks/draft beer) We only came across one grumpy security guy who searched us b4 going up to the observation deck, we had to chuckle at the poor ole fella.

10. The 2nd time we ate here was more out of conveinance, if able to drive 15mins to the red rock hotel and casino; there breakfast buffet was 1/2 the price and twice as good with probably 3x the selection.
