3. Patrick's Day weekend, rooms everywhere were pretty pricey and availability was an issue, so we stayed in one of the newly renovated strip-view rooms.

8. I ate in the diner one a couple times (good for soups, sandwiches, light meals), the buffet once (not bad for a buffet--lots of selection and not real expensive) and at the Italian restaurant once (a bit pricey, but the lobster pasta with asparagus was delicious.

10. My wife and I just took our first trip to Vegas and chose the Stratosphere because it had a pretty good rating and the rooms were not too pricey.
