The Sahara has been closed, a large scale resort/casino has stopped
construction
and there are two large empty lots between the Stratosphere and Circus Circus.

The truth is, there are a lot of places in this area where old hotels/casinos had been torn down to make way for new, elaborate high-rise complexes, only to have
