2. I agree with the comment of a reviewer before me that this is not really a boutique hotel - that doesn't mean it's bad, just a false description.

3. Friends that have lived in the city had warned me that this hotel wasn't in the nicest of neighborhoods, but after living in NYC and Philadelphia really think that the idea of a 'bad neighborhood' is subjective to it's residents.

7. I don't recommend going to Market street visa Taylor bad homeless population; although to avoid that go up O'Farrol and hit Powell and down Powell.
